Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cashiers greet and assist customers with choosing activities, and wrist banding them accordingly, then directing them to the skate shop, if they need skates.
  • Redeeming customer coupons.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stuff Shop attendants assist Sparkles customers at our prize counter.
  • Operate cashier register and credit card purchases.
  • Assist customers with arcade game card and skate trainer purchases.
  • Restock the display cases and walls.
  • Organize and clean display cases and counters.
  • Help monitor the playground for safety.
  • Ability to keep a clean and organized work station.

  • This position requires nights, weekends, and Holiday availability.

Playground Attendant monitors our two-story indoor playground for safety.

  • Check that customers have the appropriate playground entry wristband. 
  • Ensure that children are following Sparkles playground safety rules.
  • Informs a manager for any safety concerns in or around the playground. 
  • Help monitor the roller rink floor to ensure customers are following all safety rules.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Sparkles policies and procedures.
  • This position requires nights, weekends, and Holiday availability.

The Skate Shop Attendant/ Floor Guard assists in the enforcement of the rink and facility rules. Monitores the floor and skater activity to ensure to safety of all. They make announcements to reduce risks on the floor and ensure a fun skating experience. The attendant will help pass out skate rentals to patrons and help run assigned laser tag games.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Officiates Sparkles skate floor games
  • Follows and enforces all rink rules during sessions
  • Interacts with patrons in a respectful, cooperative manner
  • Reports injuries or accident that occur on the the floor to the manager on duty
  • Communicates extensive knowledge policies, and procedures to customers
  • Assist with passing out skates, the collection of skates, and organization of roller skates
  • Assist with facility restroom tightiness and maintenance
  • Works closely with other team members ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist customers with laser tag games

Party hostesses work weekends!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must have a very friendly personality, great team player, detailed oriented, well spoken, able to communicate in a kindly manner.

  • Our party hostesses assist our parties with their room time and eating time.
  • They will be in charge of setting up their party, serving their party, and cleaning up after their party.

Due to most of Sparkles parties being hosted over the weekend, Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday availability are required.

Shift Leaders oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts. Shift Leader responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
  • Oversee employee shifts ensure duties are completed
  • Manage and handle last-minute absences
  • Train and coach new employees
  • Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to upper management
  • Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits/shift reports

Sparkles is seeking an energetic, outgoing, engaging, and family friendly Lead Summer Camp Counselor, dedicated to building excellent relationships with our members and providing exceptional service for our camp program.

This position is seasonal for our summer camp season and a great opportunity for college-bound students, teachers, and retried education professionals in search of employment for the summer

Top Roles, but not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with camp counselors to execute summer camp.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and oversee summer camp activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Position Classification and Expected Hours of Work

This is full-time position beginning in May and ending the first week of August. Camp will run from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm Monday- Friday.

This is full-time seasonal position during June and July Camp will run from 7:00 am- 6:00 pm Monday- Friday. Once you seasonal contract if over you will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent positions that are available.
